Logo Jamtalhütte

Dear guests and friends of the Jamtalhütte,
according to our federal government nothing has happened in the area of the opening. Until at least mid-April is a ban on entry for catering and lodging establishments. Thus the hut remains closed.

We have our guests, employees/inside since the planned season start in the meantime innumerable times put off, are however still confident. The time after Corona will come. We will inform you regularly about the situation.

WINTER ROOM
Because the situation related to SARS-CoV-2 is extraordinarily serious, uncontrolled access to winter space for recreational activities in the coming months poses a major
health risk. The epidemiological exceptional situation represent for us a justified exception to point 2.5, part A (HüVO) of the Alpine Club.

For this reason, the winter room remains closed.

SNOWSHOEING

Exploring pristine alpine terrain on snowshoes is gaining popularity.

It’s the perfect way for non-skiers to discover the joys and wonders of the winter backcountry.

Snowshoeing is an easily mastered activity and requires only a desire to go out and enjoy what winter in the Silvretta region has to offer: beautiful blankets of dazzling snow, trees laden with white frosting, crisp energizing air, and only the sounds of silence and whispering footsteps.

Back at the warming hut you can enjoy a leisurely cup of tea or hot chocolate.

A truly memorable experience!
