CANCELLATION TERMS
- If a reservation enquiry for a sleeping place in a managed Alpine Association hut is made and confirmed on part of the hut leaseholder or made available in case of bookings at short notice, an accommodation agreement has been concluded. A legally binding conclusion of contract is also on hand in case of spoken bookings, in particular those by telephone, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
- Should after reservation pursuant to Point1 individual or all sleeping places reserved by the guest not be used, the following cancellation fees will be charged per sleeping place and night in case of cancellation or no-show by the guest: For cancellations from 14 days before beginning of the stay or in case of no-show: Euro 15.00 per person and night. The aforementioned time limit is calculated based on the time that the hut leaseholder receives the guest's written cancellation.
- The tenant is authorised to charge a deposit of euro 15.00 per night and sleeping place for reservations. In case of cancellation or no-shows, any deposits paid will be credited to cancellation fees.
- Free cancellation is generally possible, if the approach to the hut or the journey to the starting point is not possible due to force majeure events (e.g. avalanches, mudflow). The hut landlords are to be notified immediately in case of cancellation.
- All decisions regarding tours, routes, weather and avalanche conditions are the responsibility of the guest. Any liability on part of those in charge of the hut for damages of any kind is excluded.
